R.I.P. LEONARD COHEN

Leonard Cohen was a singer and songwriter who was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on September 21st, 1934. Some of his most famous songs include “Suzanne”, “Bird on the Wire”, “Chelsea Hotel #2”, and today’s song choice (that can be listened to by clicking on the provided link).

Throughout his career, he received many accolades, including 3 Grammys and 8 Juno Awards. In 2008, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2010, he received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

On this very day, November 7th 2016, Leonard Cohen died in his sleep (at his home in Los Angeles). He was 82 at the time of his death.
